Kew Single Dimmer Switch - Clear Antique Brass
The switches and sockets in our Kew collection are installed with our bespoke back boxes. This makes them perfect for new construction projects.
They’re particularly subtle too, thanks to the really slim front plates that sit perfectly flush to the wall.
Our single two-way rotary dimmer switch is crafted to be as sleek and timeless as possible in any interior setting.
There’s also a collar underneath the rotating knob to hide all the working parts.
We make our clear collection from polycarbonate, which is more flexible and durable than the usual acrylic. The knob and collar are made from solid brass in our antique brass finish.
You can have one of these two-way dimmers on a circuit alongside a two-way toggle or rocker and any number of intermediate toggles/rockers. To have multiple dimming locations on one circuit, use our multiway dimmer or in-line dimmer module.
Used with a suitable bulb, our dimmers won’t flicker or buzz. You can also set the minimum bulb brightness.
Antique brass is what’s called a ‘living’ finish because it reacts to the air and moisture around it, causing it to darken (especially in the areas you touch most). We’ve given it a head start by ageing it by hand, so it has that antique look right out the box.
- Patented electrical system engineered to make our signature flush-fit design possible
- Transparent polycarbonate plate and solid brass dimmer
- Works with wallpaper or paint
- Screwless design and easy clip-on installation
- Anti-flickering/buzzing
- Suitable for trailing and leading edge modes
- Well-suited to new build homes and developments where a back box hasn't already been fitted
- Must be installed with our single back box
- You’ll also need our 9mm render trim for brick walls or 3mm plaster trim for skimmed plasterboard
- Use our precisely sized brick or plasterboard hole saw for easy installation
